The Small Towns of Salamanca

The province of Salamanca blows its trumpets on a number of small towns and fully fledged cities. The small towns and cities are of great significance to the province of Salamanca with respect to their captivating prehistoric structural designs and many other aspects such as places of interest to holiday-makers within the precincts of the province of Salamanca. These are Ciudad Rodrigo, Bejar, Las Batuecas and La Alberca.

The crowning of the town as a National Monumental and Historical township leaves no doubt that Al Alberca is indeed a paradise of historical heritage that lovers of the times gone by should unquestionably visit.

Las Batuecas

Last but not the least in the list of the small towns of Salamanca is the petite urban municipality of Las Batuecas which also features on the list of Spain’s best small towns.

Only a stone throw away from the town of La Alberca, Las Batuecas is a town endowed with lush vegetative gardens on the Batuecas vale. The gardens are home to a wide array of species of flora that attract a number of untamed but really easy to get along with animals.
